| My Father planned it all… Zappers & 5 new websites. | June 23, 2007 |
Well, I was having some struggles in my personal thoughts, fighting with discontentment and direction. What should I be doing anyway? Well, I sought the Lord and found Him, and I believe what He is asking me to do is to focus a lot of time on the business. I’ve let Papa Murphy’s know I would like to only work two days a week due to another job, though I have now decided I will not take the other job. It’s a step of faith, because of loss of income, but I know the Lord’s will is going to pan out. I can make the business go if that’s really what He wants to happen or not. I am willing again, though it’s been a while since I have been. Benjamin has been the only Zapper builder for a while, and He needs some help. We’ve had so many things come up, it’s a good thing we tell our customers it could take up to a long time to complete their Zappers. I have lost steam in trying to push him, and the truth is it’s about time I offered to build them. I’ll need to be re-trained in how to do it though, and it could take some time to get up to speed, but I will have time soon. I made a resolve to build 5 websites per month, I’ve started 2, but I have not followed through to finish on any this month. I’ll have to buck up and get going, this week is awefully busy. |

| Literature - Spreading the gospel in Haiti | June 18, 2007 |
Prayer is essential for the spread of the gospel, but bible literature is sorely needed to strengthen the growth of the church. I just came across this website offering faith booklets, and they have some of them in Kreyol. I sent an inquiry and hope to hear from them soon. http://www.wmpress.org/ Some of the letters they have recieved from all over the world are really neat - and there was an indication that bibles were given for distribution as well. Please continue to pray for our upcoming Mission trip, I am working on the details, but it’s not completely together yet. |

| “Praise God the sea has parted!” Do you know my Lord? | June 16, 2007 |
Do you remember the story of Moses and the Children of Israel, how the Lord brought them out of Egypt only to come to a dead end, the red sea. We’re talking 600,000 men (besides women and Children) who have been delivered out of slavery by the mighty hand of God. Why would He do such a thing as to bring them to a place of impossiblity after He had showed them His mighty arm? Because God wanted to show His people that His mighty arm was not limited. What did He do? He caused a wind to part the waters of the sea so that His people could walk on dry ground to the other side. Are you at a dead end? Remember where God has brought you from and have faith. God doesn’t deliver His children from the bondage of sin only to have them recaptured by the enemy. “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” …”and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.” If you are still in bondage to sin, come up out of Egypt. God has sent Jesus to deliver you, and He has pleaded your cause before the enemy “Let my people go, that they may serve me.” He will deliver you with His righteous right hand. Do you know my Lord? Do you know, do you know, do you know my Lord? Gospel of freedom, peace to the Lost, Do you know my Jesus Lord? |

| Komm’an ou rele? (What is your name?) |
Well, you’ve been wanting to hear what the Lord will call me to next, and I feel I have the answer. I am going to Haiti in August, and I will not be coming back until the Lord calls me back. I am going to find a way to take in street boys - beggers, and give them an education in the fear of the Lord. It sounds crazy I know, and maybe it is, but right now I just going to seek the Lord and let him use my life in anyway He wants too. The plan in eye…. Did you know that if 1 man trains 10 men in the Genius principles of Genesis, and each of those 10 men train 10 men, and each of those 10 men train 10 men… and so on and so forth, it would only take 10 times of this passing on to reach 10 billion people? So, there is my Vision, if it comes about, praise God! If He has other plans that he is really trying to show me, praise God! |

| Got a JOB at Papa Murphy’s - and no, I’m not sharing the recipes. | May 25, 2007 |
I signed papers on Wednesday stating that I would not give away their secrets, and then I was set to washing dishes. I tried to wash them really fast so that they would give me something else to do. Today it worked. I was able to do some other things like grate cheese and prep tomatoes… LIKE, my arm is SORE. FIGIO is tonight, and it’s the last one until this fall. There is also a youth meeting/volley ball game in Ontario, so I am going to that at 6:30 and then going to FIGIO at 7:00. (Can’t miss the last one) I am falling asleep… |

| Kitten rescue, bread, *Housekeeping* and TIME! | May 10, 2007 |
“If I wanted to make you happy, I’d make the perfect loaf of bread and serve it to you with your favorite jam.” Yesterday, I went to visit the Kittens that were born shortly after I arrived home from Haiti. Their Mamma chose the backseat of the red car for a home and I found them not to many days after she had them. Well, the sad part is that she has disappeared. Three of them were still living when Benjamin and I came along we took them to the house and I made them mollassas and milk concoction. I gave them each a little spoonful or two and then went to look up on the internet what I should do. The mixture gave them all some energy, and I followed the directions on the site to warm them using a heating pad in a box. I wrapped it (the heating pad) up in a bag and covered it with a towel then put the kittens in it. The site that I was using is this one Kitten Rescue. Anyway, I called a couple of friends to see if they had a Mamma cat who might be the type to adopt and arranged to bring the Kittens over to Hannah’s house in the morning. I got her recipe for formula, made some similure stuff and fed them one more time before going to bed. The crazy part of this story I don’t want to admit, but I started freaking out. I tried to call the first friend and didn’t get anyone, and so I went to the store to try to find a kitten nurser and some formula. It’s not that the kittens are that big of a deal, I’ve tried to raise them before and had them die in my arms, but I just kept thinking of Paul. (The 9 month baby boy that I held shortly after he breathed his last.) I got all panicky inside and while going through the check-out after not finding what I was looking for, and buying a bag of cat food, I told J.R. what was going on. He said “I raised 2 kittens once, I had to like, feed them every 2 hours for months or something.” anyway, this calmed me down. He said they both made it, one was 9 when he died and the other is still living at 17. So, the Lord reminded me to put my trust in him about this. Anyway, Hannah’s Mamma cat seems to be taking them over pretty well, we’ll see tonight. I talked to Kylie today, hurray! I haven’t talked to her for over two weeks. She’s got a house to keep now, and I’m going to try to gather up some necessities for her kitchen to give her for her birthday. I’ve found a bread machine that I am testing right now to make sure everything works, and I’m going to try to get some odds and ends like a cassarole dish and some glasses. I’m going to keep my eyes open at yard sales for stuff too. Time has been going by fast. I wonder if that means I am getting anything done? Well, I don’t know, *maybe* . Minnie will be getting Home on the 16, YaY! |

| What about Acts 2:46 and 47? I am the lady of the house! | May 9, 2007 |
My Mother, and Sisters left yesterday morning to visit my Grandma Joan in California. They will be back tomorrow night, but for now, I am the lady of the house. Today I washed a lot of pans and worked on catching up in the kitchen. Luke loaded the dishwasher just before I was getting to it, so when he started unloading it later, I told him he didn’t have to. He just said “really?!” smiled and gave me a hug. I wasn’t expecting that, and when he said “Is that so I’ll do something else? I guess I’ll go bury the slop than!” I told him that wasn’t why, but he could bury the slop if he wanted. He did, and he was smiling about it. I took it out this morning when I was cleaning the kitchen. He usually does it, but when I thought about asking him, I figured, no big deal I can do it, so I did. I will be singing Bigger than any Mountain with Justin on Saturday, at the SDA church. Well, I’m fighting a cold and he was getting over one last week so we’ll see if we have voices on Friday when we practice. The Brown clan is going to meet at the Church to practice Friday night with the mics. I like microphones for singing! We will have accompaniment as well - Caleb and Michael on guitar and Delphia on Banjo. I wish I could sing with someone all the time. “And they continued daily with one accord in the Temple, and breaking bread at home, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favor of all the people: and the Lord added to the Church day to day, such as should be saved.” |

| Greetings *NEW* blog, chosing a theme will have to wait. | May 8, 2007 |
Well, today I had the idea to start some more blogs. I was reading Crystal Payne’s Blog and I just thought, OK, so why can’t I have a good blog that I keep updated? Well, I kept a good one in Haiti, but the fact that I am home and that anything I were to write in it ought to (probably) be about Haiti and my trip there, I assumed that another blog would suffice. Now, I am not sure that I have established a good name and the chance that I will in the end move it to mary.genesisgenius.com is pretty fair and as far as the theme goes, this one does not fit my personality (not to imply that I think it is ugly,) the designer and I simply to not share tastes. I will be looking for a better theme, but for now to amuse my fingers and brain I will allow myself to write. I have been having some superb ideas lately, and the fact that I am a person who needs to express my ideas in order to get them done, I will let you in on the ones that are steaming in my head right now. I am building a site specifically for people interested in learning languages, using Moodle. My initial idea is to have people who are learning the language actually design the courses. I am learning Spanish, so I will be working on the Spanish course. I am thinking out a plan for a cloth diaper fund for orphans, and I am hoping to start making diapers for my two sister who are having babies as well. As a sister and daughter, I want my brothers and my Father to appreciate my womanhood. I want to practice being a helpmeet by being helpful to them. I think a blog would be neat to share my adventures. |
