My Guy - updated
May 8th, 2007 by Mary
My name is Mary, I am 19 years old and my status is single and waiting. (It’s called “the waiting game NOT the dating game.”)
As a Christian young lady who is under the authority of my Father, I want to be a good steward of my time, using these years before marriage in preparation for the day when the Lord God will call me to be a wife and mother. The dream is not enough, I endeavor to become an accomplished woman of God, and so I spend my days attempting to please my family, my Brothers and my Father, cooking, cleaning, and being kind. I study, I work and I speak in the hope that I will be a vessel of honor unto my Lord.
Shall I now tell you about My Guy? I have a man in my future life whom I call Question Mark. Some variations I use for his name are Mr. Mark, Mark, Q. M. Question, and Q. Mark. I am accountable to my Lord for the way I behave towards all men, and I am reminded that though I do not know who is waiting for me, I must be patient and love him. So, while My Guy is still the biggest Question in my life, I am preparing for his coming.

I’ve met the man I will call Mark. He is Canadian. It was in Haiti that we met, when his parents went to Haiti Children’s Home to bring their daughter home. (She was adopted from HCH). This was in September when Isaac and I went.
Just a note to myself - got to get some dishes done!
